This workshop is now less than two weeks away. Life events take place often when you do not expect them, and more often than not, when you are least prepared to handle them. Please consider your status, and that of your family’s right now. If you do not currently have a will, a trust, a durable power of attorney, a health care power of attorney, or any of the other fundamental life estate planning documents, please consider taking advantage of this educational forum. If you have documents that are old and possibly out-of-date, please consider coming on the 14th. If you are not sure, please make plans to be in our Fellowship Hall on Saturday April 14 at 1:00 PM.
We will NOT be preparing documents on that day. But there will be an experienced attorney available who will answer any questions that you may have. She can give you advice on what you may need to do, and what you may need to have. She will tell you what the law is and what you can do to protect you and you family’s health, assets, and well-being.
Also, licensed funeral directors will be present who can answer any questions that you may have relative to pre-planning a funeral or cremation. They can tell you about options that you should consider now, rather than on what could be a very bad day for your family.
If there is a scripture reading that is important to you, or a hymn that you would like sung at your day of celebration, then Pastor Ogilvie will talk about funerals, and how to individualize them for you and your family.
This is a unique opportunity. Think about it. We encourage you to make your plans to participate in “Operation In As Much”, and then come on later to these
discussions. But remember, please call the Church Office and let us know that you plan to be here. It not only helps with arrangements, but provides our guests the courtesy of knowing for how many to plan. We look forward to your attendance, and hope that this meets a need in your life
