Fall Schedule

Bible Song

St. James has begun a new, inter-generational curriculum for Sunday School this Fall.  Each week, we will build on what we learned during the previous week.  This is a fun and interactive lesson plan that continues over into our home lives.  Not only will you learn something new at church each week, but you will have real life opportunities within your family to practice them at home!  Come, worship and learn with us at 9:15AM each Sunday.

Also changing this Fall are our service times. We have brought back two services this Fall for those families with varying schedules.  Please, come and join our worship service at either 8AM or 10:30AM each Sunday.  The sermon each Sunday will tie into our Sunday School curriculum each week, giving a deeper understanding of the Bible and the love God has for each of us!

SHROVE TUESDAY

Traditionally viewed as a day of repentance, Shrove Tuesday has become the last day for celebration and feasting before the period of fasting required during the Lenten season. The name "Shrove Tuesday" is derived from the word "shrive", which means to confess and receive absolution. The name denotes a period of cleansing, wherein a person brings their lusts and appetites under subjection through abstention and self-sacrifice.
St. James would like to invite you in joining us for a Pancake Dinner on Shrove Tuesday, March 4 from 6 to 8PM.  We will eat our fill of great food and enjoy wonderful fellowship.
