Our church graveyard was filled with life this afternoon as a large group of kids and adults went searching all over the grounds for more than 400 Easter eggs.
What a great time they had, as they loaded up their baskets with colorful, candy-filled eggs!
Before setting out on their egg hunt, they were blessed to hear the music of the Hearts of Columbia choir. After the hunt, they got back together to enjoy some delicious refreshments together and to play with baby chicks, kittens, bunnies, fish, and tadpoles. What a fun way to anticipate our upcoming celebration of the crucified and risen Christ, who opens the tomb and brings new life into our graveyards as he defeats death forever!
